Sports Massage

Sports massage is a targeted, results-driven therapy designed to help active individuals recover faster, move better, and prevent injury. Whether you’re a professional athlete, weekend warrior, or just someone who pushes their body hard — this massage is built for you.

Unlike a relaxation massage, sports massage focuses on specific muscle groups, movement patterns, and the unique stress your body carries. It combines deep tissue work, stretching, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and techniques like cupping and scraping to address tightness, pain, and restrictions at the root.

What to expect

Expect a hands-on, results-driven approach. I use a combination of techniques — including deep tissue, active release, cupping, scraping, and movement therapy — to target tension and restore mobility. You’ll stay actively involved through guided breathing or small movements to help the tissue release and reset more effectively.

Hydrate Well

Drink plenty of water the day of your session. Hydration helps your muscles release tension more effectively and supports your body’s recovery after deep work. This is especially important for women — proper hydration reduces soreness, cramping, and fatigue after massage.

What to wear

Please not: There is no top sheet used during the session. You’ll undress to your comfort level. For women, the best option is a strapless bandeau bra, as it allows me to work across the shoulders and upper back without restrictions. However, if you’re wearing a regular bra, we can simply unhook or remove the top while you’re face-down — always with your comfort and privacy as the priority.

Sports Hybrid

Sports Hybrid is a new style of bodywork I created for clients who want the best of both worlds — deep relaxation and deep pressure, without the intensity of a problem-focused treatment. This session blends the long, flowing strokes of classic Swedish massage with the focused, grounded techniques of sports massage. It’s designed to calm the nervous system, open up the body, and melt away built-up tension — without the clinical feel of a traditional deep tissue or sports session.

What to Expect

    •    Not focused on fixing pain or problem areas

    •    No aggressive pressure or intense release work

    •    No need to stay mentally “on” — just breathe and receive

 •    Full-body flow designed to restore, not dissect

I’ll still use some of the same tools — slow, intentional pressure and deep tissue techniques — but the goal is different: recovery, not repair. You won’t feel like you’re being “worked on.” You’ll feel like you’re being brought back into balance.

Tools

Durring a Sports Hybrid session, there will be no scraping or cupping. I will add in some mapping with one cup during the session if that is something you would like to add.

Draping

For Sports Hybrid sessions, a top sheet is always used to ensure comfort and modesty. Only the area being worked on will be uncovered, and you’ll stay securely draped the entire time.

You can undress to your comfort level — most clients take off underwear, but it’s entirely up to you. I’ll step out while you get settled on the table.

This session is all about creating a safe, grounded space where you can fully relax and let go
